Purpose of the trip:
A. Celebrate the gifts and collaboration with Atlantic Union Conference (AUC) and Malawi Union Conference (MUC) via Malawi Adventist University (MAU) i.e., 4 containers of supplies and a bus. This includes maintenance professional development to assist the set-up of the library and general plant services.
B. Launch the Give-Hope Project in conjunction with MAU & MUC
C. Assist MAU and MUC in educational consultation including classes and workshops
D. Continue fellowship with the wonderful people of Malawi

Country Summary: Violent Crime such as theft, burglary, armed robbery, assault, and carjacking is common. The capabilities of the Malawi Police Service are growing but its resources and abilities to deter and investigate crimes, assist victims, and apprehend criminals are limited.
Demonstrations may occur and increase in frequency around political issues and events such as elections. Teargas is frequently deployed at demonstrations and roads may be blocked.
