Grenada Mission Trip - 2024

Mission Opportunities:
There is a great need across the entire healthcare arena, with the public health clinics available for a sliding fee that may not be affordable for everyone. Several churches on the island need repair or refreshment, and painting.

Currency

Eastern Caribbean (EC) Dollar. The US Dollar is also used.

Cost: $2500/person. Includes airfare, hotel *based on double occupancy, food, and transportation. *single occupancy rooms are approximately $50 more per night.

Payment Plan

All payments are made through New Hope’s online giving portal (https://newhopefulton.org/). Look for the line-item ‘Grenada Mission Trip’. Please send a copy of receipt of your payment to mpgrenada2023@gmail.com.

- Non-refundable Payment 1 $1500 – due April 15

- Payment 2 $500 – due May 15
- Payment 3 $500 – due June 15

Estimated Trip Itinerary

-Friday, July 5 - Travel/Departure from USA, Arrive in Grenada.
-Sabbath, July 6 - Attend church, free afternoon.
-Sunday, July 6 – Thursday, July 11 – Workdays.
-Sabbath, July 12 – Participate in church and present the afternoon program. -Sunday, July 14 - Travel/Depart Grenada, Arrive in USA.

Estimated Workday

6:00-7:45 am – Arise and breakfast
7:45 am – Group Worship
8:15-9:00 am – Drive to work locations
9:00 am – 3:00 pm – Work (with lunch break) 3:00-4:00 pm – Return to Hotel

4:30 – 7:00 pm – Free Time
7:00 pm – Dinner
8:30 pm – Group Debrief
9:00 pm – Group games/social activities

Excursions

There are many excursion options available. We will provide a list of group and single tours. You are responsible for paying for your excursions. For free time in the evenings Grand Anse Beach, St George’s, Fort George, The Carenage, Spiceland Mall, and BBC Beach are close to the hotel.
